How To Avoid Common TrapsIn Designing Sales/Distribution Agreements

Massachusetts CLE this month is planning a CLE seminar titled Sales and Distribution Agreements to take place on Tuesday, July 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the MCLE Conference Center, 10 Winter Place, Boston.

This program explores the traits of successful (and unsuccessful) sales and distribution strategies, and looks in depth at the important terms of sales and distribution agreements. The seminar is for business, intellectual property and licensing lawyers involved in sales and distribution transactions, and non-lawyer negotiators (such as business development executives and contracts managers).

Panelists will explain what attorneys need to know to negotiate both simple and complex arrangements, avoid traps in these transactions and help clients develop long-term sales and distribution strategies.

The program chair is Jason C. Gish, Gehrke, Gish & Umana LLP. Other speakers are Eric P. Damon, IBM, and Alexander H. Pyle, Van Wert, Zimmer & Conlin, PC.

For details on registration fees, see the Bulletin Board on The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel website at www.metrocorpcounsel.com.
