Four General Counsel Become MembersOf Lex Mundi Client Advisory Council

Four general counsel from leading multinational corporations have agreed to join the Lex Mundi Client Advisory Council in 2005. With the addition of these four distinguished members, the Client Advisory Council has reached its full size of twelve members. This group of senior in-house counsel from some of the world's leading companies provides advice and guidance in a variety of areas that enhance member firms' ability to better serve their clients and to meet the needs of in-house counsel.

The new members of the Client Advisory Council are: Jan Eijsbouts, general counsel, Akzo Nobel nv (Netherlands); Madeleine Kleiner, executive vice president and general counsel, Hilton Hotels Corporation; Roderick Palmore, senior vice president, secretary and general counsel, Sara Lee Corporation, and Dr. Martin Wagener, general counsel, Audi (Germany).

These new members join Eduardo Arbizu, director of legal affairs, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentario, S.A.; Hans Peter Frick, group general counsel, Nestle SA; James Jenkins, senior vice president and general counsel, Deere & Co.; Anastasia Kelly, executive vice president and general counsel, MCI; Jeffrey B. Kindler, senior vice president and general counsel, Pfizer Inc.; William Lytton, executive vice president and general counsel, Tyco International; Kazumichi Matsuki, general manager, Legal Department, Mitsubishi Corporation and Laura Stein, senior vice president and general counsel, Clorox Corporation.

The Client Advisory Council will participate in Lex Mundi's Annual Meeting and Europe/Africa/Middle East Regional Conference in Prague in September 2005 where they will meet with the Lex Mundi Board of Directors and participate in conference programs.
