Fios Webcast To Feature NY District Judge

Judge Shira Scheindlin, district judge for the Southern District of New York, will be featured this month in the first of several webcast seminars planned by Fios, Inc.

Judge Scheindlin will be the featured presenter at a Tuesday, February 8 webcast titled The Proposed Rules of Civil Procedure: An Overview by Judge Shira Scheindlin, the Author of the Zubulake Opinions. The program will take place from 1 to 2 p.m EST (10 to 11 a.m. PST).

Judge Scheindlin will talk about what the proposed changes will mean for counsel and will discuss each of the new rules in some detail. Judge Scheindlin also will review her top 10 tips on conducting e-discovery in the current light of Rule 26 to avoid garnering sanctions for inadvertently violating a discovery order, or worse yet, charges of spoliation of evidence.
