'East Meets West: European Financial Regulation As The EU Expands'



The Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel-America and the firm of White & Case LLP this month will offer a CLE seminar titled East Meets West: European Financial Regulation as the EU Expands.

The program will take place on Thursday, March 18 from noon to 2 p.m. at the White & Case offices, 1155 Sixth Avenue, New York City.

The discussion will include a brief overview of the EU enlargement process, the implications of the Accession Treaty and the legal changes that will occur in the new member states upon accession. The speakers will address concerns for U.S. companies involved in the financial services sector.

The speakers will be Jacquelyn MacLennan and Alastair Sutton, partners in the Brussels office of White & Case.
