The Delaware Valley Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America (DELVACCA) this month will present its Fourth Annual General Counsel Forum.
The event will take place on Wednesday, September 14 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Union League, 140 South Broad Street, Philadelphia.
This annual conference is intended to serve as a forum for Philadelphia region general counsel, chief legal officers and senior managing counsel to gain valuable, practical information on important, timely topics that are applicable to their practices.
Discussion topics will include:
- Trends in Corporate Regulation, Enforcement and Litigation;
- Role of Criminal Law and Intent in Regulating Corporate Behavior;
- Panel Discussion: Has the Pendulum Swung Too Far?
The luncheon keynote speaker will be Reid H. Weingarton, partner at Steptoe & Johnson, who will discuss Restoring the Equilibrium: Balancing Regulation, Enforcement and Litigation in Achieving Corporate Compliance.
