DELVACCA Plans Annual Spring Fling

The Delaware Valley chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (DELVACCA) is hosting its fourth annual Spring Fling, a social networking event, on Thursday, June 8 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Fairmount Water Works in Philadelphia.

The Water Works is located in center city Philadelphia, and features views of the Schuylkill River, the center city skyline and Boathouse Row. The event will include a tour of the new Water Works Interpretive Center as well as an opportunity to network while strolling among the Landmark Pavilion, Mill House and Gazebo.

The event is sponsored by Littler Mendelson, a national labor law firm; Oxford Legal Associates, a full-service staffing firm for the legal profession, and Merrill Corporation, a provider of document management solutions to the corporate and legal communities.

According to Deborah Butler, DELVACCA board member and lead planner for the event, 'We always hold the Spring Fling in an exciting location to encourage people who think 'I won't know anybody' to come out and enjoy a setting that can serve as a conversation starter.'

Dennis Schoff, DELVACCA's president adds, 'We especially like to use the Spring Fling as a venue for outreach to members of the legal community who may not know that there is a member service organization devoted just to the needs of in-house counsel.'

The event will be held rain or shine. For information about registration fees, see the Bulletin Board on The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel website at www.metrocorpcounsel.com.
