Delaware Bar To Present 'New Issues In Government Law'



The Delaware State Bar Association (DSBA) this month is planning a CLE seminar titled New Issues in Government Law.


The program is scheduled for Friday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Delaware Technical & Community College, Education and Technology Building, Campus Drive, Dover, DE.


Serving as program moderator is Michael F. McTaggart, chair of the DSBA Government Law Section.


W. Michael Tupman, deputy Delaware attorney general, will present a 2003 Update on Public Information Law.


Social Security Law and Practice: Is Your Client Really Disabled? will be covered by Thomas Hodukavich, senior attorney adviser for the Philadelphia East Hearing Office, Social Security Administration.


Olha Rybakoff, director of the Delaware Department of Justice Consumer Unit, will review State Enforcement of Delaware's Consumer Protection and Fair Trade Laws and Highlights From the New Do-Not-Call Law.


Jeffrey J. Clark and William W. Pepper Sr., both of Schmittinger & Rodriguez, and Ronald D. Smith, Hudson Jones Jaywork & Fisher, will present Ethical Challenges for State and Local Government Attorneys.
