DC Bar Seminar To ReviewLitigating Patent Infringement Cases

The DC Bar Association this month is offering a CLE seminar titled How to Litigate a Patent Infringement Case.

The program will take place on Tuesday, September 12 from 6 to 9:15 p.m. at the DC Bar Conference Center, 1250 H Street, NW, Washington, DC.

This program will provide a practical introduction to patent infringement litigation. Practice tips will include a look at pre-trial investigation; jurisdiction, pleading and venue issues; joinder of parties and claims; preliminary motions practice; discovery; working with experts; damages; Markman motions; summary judgment; pre-trial and trial, including evidence, witnesses, demonstrative exhibits, and other graphics tools; post-trial motions, and appeal.

The speakers will be Patrick J. Coyne and Jerry Ivey, Finnegan, Henderson, Farrabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP.
