Connecticut Bar Seats New Officers



Outgoing Connecticut Bar Association President John W. Hogan Jr. installed the 2004-2005 CBA officers at the CBA 2004 Annual Meeting on June 7 in New Haven. The officers will serve one-year terms that took effect on July 1.


Installed as officers and executive committee members were: Frederic S. Ury, managing partner of Ury & Moskow LLP in Fairfield, president; Louis R. Pepe, senior partner of Pepe & Hazard LLP in Hartford, president-elect; Norman K. Janes, executive director of Statewide Legal Services in Middletown, vice president; Andrea Barton-Reeves, senior associate of Wolf Horowitz Etlinger & Case LLC in Hartford, secretary; John R. Logan, partner of Logan & Mencuccini LLP in Torrington, treasurer, and Vincent Cervoni of Gesmonde Pietrosimone & Sgrignari LLC in Hamden, assistant secretary-treasurer.


Mr. Hogan, who is of counsel to Berchem Moses and Devlin PC in Milford, will serve on the executive committee as immediate past president.


The CBA is a voluntary, not-for-profit association of lawyers and judges dedicated to promoting public service and advancing the principles of law and justice through its 11,000 members.
