The Colorado Women's Bar Association and the Colorado Women's Bar Association Foundation this month have scheduled Raising the Bar, an event honoring three women lawyers celebrating three important roles.
The gathering will take place on Tuesday, September 12 at the Brown Palace Hotel, 321 17th Street, Denver, starting with a reception at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
The honorees include Karen Mathis, president of the American Bar Association; Elizabeth Starrs, president of the Colorado Bar Association, and Vanessa Walton, president of the Colorado Women's Bar Association.
Proceeds will benefit the Colorado Women's Bar Association Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation that works to implement the charitable and educational projects of the CWBA.
