The Chicago Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) this month is planning a legal education program for in-house counsel titled A New Approach to Streamlining Negotiations. The program will take place on Thursday, November 10 from noon to 1 p.m. at the law firm of Neal Gerber Eisenberg, LLP, Two North LaSalle Street, 19th Floor, Chicago. Registration begins at 11:15 a.m., with complimentary lunch beginning at 11:45 a.m.
The featured presenter will be Diana J.P. McKenzie, partner and chair, Neal Gerber.
This program will examine, among other topics, strategies for negotiating the best contracts for your clients in order to maximize benefit and minimize risk. Specifically, the presentation will discuss how to prepare to negotiate, preparing and evaluating RFPs, benefits of "parallel track" negotiations, setting and sticking with negotiation procedures and a negotiations schedule, a typical negotiation day, and key terms.
