Chicago ACCA May Activities



The Chicago Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel-America this month has a full schedule of activities aimed at in-house attorneys.


On Tuesday, May 11, the chapter will offer a luncheon seminar titled Enterprise E-mail as a Record.


This program will address the importance and necessary components of an e-mail program, such as e-mail usage policies and procedures, and the technology options available in the marketplace for applying records management controls to e-mail.


This session will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the offices of Ungaretti & Harris, 70 West Madison, Chicago.


On Tuesday, May 18, the Chapter will present an evening seminar titled Adding Value to M&A Transactions - A Primer for In-House Counsel.


Speakers will include Deena S. Newlander and Robert Wilczek, Gardner Carton & Douglas LLP.


This program will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the East Bank Club, 500 North Kingsbury Street, Chicago. The seminar also will be presented as a morning program on May 18 at a location still to be determined.
