CBA Seminar Will Examine Workplace Speech

For attorneys who assist employers or employees, the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) has planned a CLE seminar titled Speech and Expressive Activity in the Workplace.

The program will take place on Monday, April 17 starting at 6 p.m. at the CBA Law Center, 30 Bank Street, New Britain, CT.

This program will look in depth at the various federal and state law provisions governing an employee's speech, both in and outsides the workplace. Both public and private sector employees will be considered.

Among other things, the panel of speakers will address federal and state constitutional protections, state and federal whistle-blower protections, and Connecticut General Statutes31-51q.
