The Pennsylvania Bar Institute (PBI) will present its Business Bootcamp for Lawyers, a two-day, intensive program on the basics of corporate finance, on Friday and Saturday, May 7 and 8.
The instructor, David Scharfstein, a professor at the Harvard Business School, will employ a combination of lecture, case analysis and breakout groups to help attendees develop a better understanding of business financial concepts.
Mr. Scharfstein will address topics including Financial Statement Analysis & Financial Forecasting, Capital Structure & Choice of Financial Instrument, Business Valuation, and Application of Project and Business Valuation Principles.
The sessions will take place at the CLE Conference Center, Wanamaker Building, Juniper Street, Philadelphia from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.
