The Boston Bar Association (BBA) will conduct its 14th Annual Bankruptcy Court Bench Meets Bar Conference, under the theme Bankruptcy Court Practice 2004, on Thursday, May 13.
The conference will take place from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the Omni Parker House Hotel, 14th Floor, 60 School Street, Boston, followed by a reception from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Registration will begin at 2:30 p.m.
Judicial participants will include the Hon. Joan N. Feeney, chief bankruptcy judge for Massachusetts, and the Hon. Henry J. Boroff, the Hon. William C. Hillman, the Hon. Carol J. Kenner and the Hon. Joel B. Rosenthal, all bankruptcy judges.
Some of the issues they will discuss include: significant Supreme Court and Court of Appeals decisions, Service Members Civil Relief Act, and recent developments on conflict of interest and disqualification.
