BBA Seminar Will Examine"Modernized" IRS Practice

The Boston Bar Association (BBA) this month will present a seminar titled Tax Controversy at the IRS and in Court.

The program will take place on Wednesday, December 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the BBA Conference Center, 16 Beacon Street, Boston.

Through an extensive overview of topics ranging from a look at the new and "modernized" IRS to practice in front of the United States Tax Court, this panel will provide a thorough introduction to those who are new to tax practice but interested in pursuing tax controversy work, and a comprehensive review for long-time practitioners in tax controversy work.

The program moderator will be Robert M. Finkel, Morse, Barnes-Brown & Pendelton, P.C. Other speakers will be Jennifer Smith Mitchelson, Rubin & Rudman LLP; Peter Golemme, Law Office of Peter Golemme; Marvis A. Knospe, Internal Revenue Service, and Luz Arevalo, Greater Boston Legal Services.
