BBA Seminar Will Examine Revisions In Massachusetts Corporation Law

In response to numerous requests for a summary of the new Massachusetts Business Corporation Act (Chapter 156D), the Boston Bar Association (BBA) will present such a summary on Thursday, February 19 at a CLE seminar titled New Business Corporation Act.

The presenters will be Stanley Keller, a partner at Palmer & Dodge LLC; Robert Nutt, a partner at Ropes & Gray, and Andrew Nichols, a recently retired partner of Choate, Hall & Stewart. Each of the presenters is an experienced senior corporate lawyer and each has been extensively involved in the drafting of the new act from the outset. Mr. Keller and Mr. Nutt are co-chairs of the Task Force for a Comprehensive Revision of the Massachusetts Business Corporation Law, and Mr. Nichols is the task force secretary.

The program will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at the BBA offices, 16 Beacon Street, Boston.
