The ACC Greater NY Chapter has finalized its agenda for its Annual Ethics and Professionalism Program to be held on Tuesday, June 24.It will take place at the Marriott Marquis, Times Square in NYC from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The presentations will include: the norms relating to lawyers' professional obligations to clients, courts and other legal institutions; the sources of lawyers' professional obligations (including disciplinary rules, judicial decisions and relevant constitutional and statutory provisions); recognition and resolution of ethical dilemmas; the mechanism of enforcing professional norms, and professional values.
Three panel discussions are scheduled: Establishing and Maintaining an Ethical Environment, moderated by Robert Roach, University Compliance Officer-NYU; In-House Counsel as Gatekeeper, moderated by Susan Hackett, ACC's senior vice president and general counsel, and In-House Counsel/Client Privilege, moderated by C. Martin Meekins, assistant general counsel, Parella Weinberg Partners.
