ABCNY Seminar Will ReviewCorporate Counsel Ethics

The Association of the Bar of the City of New York this month has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Ethics for In-House Counsel.

The program will take place on Thursday, November 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the House of the Association, 42 West 44th Street, New York City.

This annual ethics program is designed especially for in-house counsel and outside counsel advising their in-house clients. Using a hypothetical based on real-life experience, a panel of speakers will review a variety of important professional responsibility issues that affect corporate counsel on a daily basis.

Topics to be discussed include:

Ethical obligations to the corporation and to corporate employees;

"Reporting up" and "reporting out" obligations.

The program's new content will entitle attendees to receive CLE credit even if they attended the 2004 program.
