ABCNY Seminar To Examine The LatestIn Federal Securities Prosecution



The Association of the Bar of the City of New York (ABCNY) this month is planning a CLE seminar titled Current Issues in Federal Securities Prosecution: Latest Regulatory, Congressional & Public Policy Developments.


The program will take place on Tuesday, April 13 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the House of the Association, 42 West 44th Street, New York City.


A panel of leading prosecutors and defense attorneys will discuss the latest legal tools and strategies available in the new era of headline-making criminal securities fraud prosecutions.


Topics will include the impact of new criminal statutes and regulatory requirements; SEC regulation of the conduct of corporate counsel; navigating parallel civil, criminal and congressional inquiries, and the effect of growing public intolerance of corporate malfeasance.
