A Look At Trademark Law Developments

The Litigation Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco this month has scheduled a CLE program titled Current Trademark Law in Cyberspace.

The session will take place on Thursday, September 14 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the CLE Auditorium, 465 California Street, San Francisco. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.

The panelists will discuss and analyze contributory trademark infringement in cyberspace, including:

Recent court decisions considering trademark use and non-use in connection with keyword bidding and pop-up advertising;

Developments in the initial interest confusion doctrine;

Fair use defense.
